Disaster Management in Barranquilla Colombia
The multi-sector Rountable in Barranquilla, Colombia on August 18, 2009 resulted in new alliances for disaster management and risk reduction. The AmCham committee will be looking to share priorities with the private sector with the purpose of letting companies know how they can get involved in the process and what they can do to help.

Barranquilla enfrenta inundaciones con daños frecuentes a su red vial vulnerable por falta de un sistema adecuado de drenaje. También carece un eficiente sistema de colección de basura. Hasta han registrado un aumento en la cantidad de tornados que forman y afectan a la zona.
